Applying to change your thesis details

Follow this process if you wish to apply to change your thesis title and/or update your final thesis access setting.

We recommend that you discuss your plans with your supervisor(s) and the Doctoral Academy team first.

Before you apply to make any change, you should have:

• read and understood the Presentation of Thesis Policy;
• read and understood the different options for access to your final thesis;
• discussed the application with the Doctoral Academy and with your supervisor(s);
• discussed any potential ATAS implications that a change in thesis title might have with the Student Immigration Team (if you are an international researcher).

Please download and complete the form, then send it via email to the FSE DA Progression and Welfare team.

Your application will be reviewed by the Doctoral Academy Progression and Welfare team, who will update you via your university email on the outcome.
