Graduation and degree certificates

Graduation

There are two graduation ceremonies held each year:

• Summer Graduation - two weeks in early July (recommended submission by 1 April).
• Winter Graduation - two/three days in mid-December (latest submission by 30 September)*.

*Please note: Even if you submit by the above dates, graduation cannot be guaranteed. If you submit late in September and hope to graduate in December, you should discuss this with your supervisor so they can consider availability of examiners within the timescale. You can be assured that we will do all we can to enable you to attend the graduation ceremony of your choice.

Details of graduation will be included on your official result letter. Registration for graduation will be via the self-service portal which can be accessed through My Manchester.

Degree certificates

If you do not attend your graduation ceremony your degree certificate will be sent to your home address listed in Campus Solutions. You can update your address details via My Manchester.
