- Parents and carers - The University provides a range of policies and services to support parents and carers. There is also a PGR Parents, Carers and Guardian Network.
- Sport and activities - Information on the Be Active programme of fitness classes for all levels, as well as running and walking groups and general wellbeing services.
- The International Society - Trips, groups and activities that bring together our international students and staff.
- My Manchester News is a valuable resource for keeping up to date with important University information, and has a tab specifically for those doing postgraduate research.
- The Student’s Union also offers a dedicated advice service to support students.
- The Careers Service offers support to any student or graduate looking at their options, including resources for doctoral students.
- Register with a GP on the NHS website. Alternatively, The University has a GP service on campus in Crawford House, managed by the Robert Darbishire Practice.
